Matthew Galbraith (b. 1949) began writing poems in his late teens when he left home for the adventure and excitement of the cultural revolution of the late 1960's. He lives near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his wife, Nancy Galbraith, a succesful composer and Professor of Composition at Carnegie Mellon University. The Galbraith's have two daughters and four grandchildren.
