The poems in this collection were written from 1989 through 1999 and were compiled for a personal collection shared only with the author's friends and family. In 2019, they were added to the back pages of the 4th edition of Matthew Galbraith's first book, I Awoke in Dreamland. "Having just turned 40, I began writing these poems for my own amusement, as well as for the laughter and ridicule of my wife and two teenage daughters. A few decades later, I polished and edited the collection without compromising their original language and intent to any significant degree." —M.G.
